Farrimond, in this new role, will support Keith Brooks, regional director of Towers Watson Asia Pacific and leader of the IMC practice. He will provide advisory services to insurers in the areas of strategy design, distribution and operations, the firm said in a statement. Farrimond will be based in Singapore.

His rich insight and advice will support Towers Watson’s mission in providing pragmatic and insightful solutions focused on delivering genuine business benefits to insurance clients in Asia-Pacific,” said Brooks.

Farrimond has 24 years’ experience in the insurance industry, having started his career in the Isle of Man. He previously spent eight years at Munich Re, where he held a variety of roles in Hong Kong and Mumbai. Prior to that, he was operations director at Commercial Union in Romania.
